Goodness.

A field trip to Ink Lounge allows youth to experience a screen printing art studio and hear why I use my creative skills and resources for social justice. I will go over the screen printing process, everyone will pull a print on a T-shirt or paper to support a social issue, and I'm happy to answer all the questions they have. Visit the Studio Tour page to get a peek.

Reminder: Field Trips are for youth, K-12 to university level & youth focused non-profits. Some exceptions may apply.
Location: Ink Lounge is located in the Baker neighborhood just south of downtown Denver, CO View Map

Overview & Details

Call to schedule a date/time for the youth to take a our and screen print a shirt or mini-poster where everyone will pull the same print using the same color ink. I also have several design options to choose from that allows me to talk about using art for social justice. You may provide your own 1-color design but it must address a social issue and abide by the Ink Lounge image rights policy.

Cost: I generally donate all costs with the exception of large orders of shirts.

Amount of Time: approximately 1-2 hours based on time you have or need to fill.

Days Available: Monday-Friday, generally 10am-5pm. Unfortunately no nights or weekends.

Amount of Attendees: 10-15 is ideal but have some flexibility, especially during warmer months.

Please Note: there will be times I am unavailable due to my work schedule. These visits are not suitable for groups seeking specific screen printing career exploration opportunities.
