Ink Lounge First Friday * May 4 * 5pm-8pm
May is kicking off with a combo of 2 local makers to tell their tales along with the chance to sample Colorado's finest Bloody Mary made with their combined ingredients. Yum!
The Real Dill: Justin Park and Tyler DuBois will tell their tale on how in 2011 they started making pickles for fun – and grew it to a 4,600 sq ft facility with 11 employees where they're producing around 50,000 gallons of Bloody Mary mix and 65,0000 jars of pickles per year! * Website
Bear Creek Distillery: Jay Johnson will be telling their tale on how Jeff Dickinson and David "dbo" Baker, along with himself, purchased an old industrial building off South Acoma in Denver and converted it into an award winning distillery. * Website
5pm-6pm * Free Screenprinting + Bloody Marys + Pickles
The 1st 50 attendees will get a chance to pull a free koozie with a special Ink Lounge design on it. We'll also have a Bloody Mary drink blended with Bear Creek Vodka and The Real Dill's Bloody Mary mix. Plus a variety of pickles to snack on. Samples available while they last!
6pm-7pm * Tall Tales + Q&A
We'll take about 15 minutes for each to share their stories with visuals on how they got inspired and continue to make it all happen. We'll save some time for Q&A as well.
7pm-8pm * Mingle with Strangers + Tour
The Real Dill is our neighbor, so they will open their doors for an informal tour if you're interested in seeing their facility. We'll still be serving beverages to keep some spirited conversations going.
We have 2 collaborative screenprinting workshops coming up where we're partnering with The Real Dill and Bear Creek Distillery. Both have limited spots available and registration is required. A unique experience to mix up what we all do!
